The BVIC strives to empower individuals to meet the everyday challenges
of visual disabilities through education, support services, and skills training.
Clients meet at the Center for fellowship every Tuesday enjoying a mild exercise session (11:30 a.m.), a lunch (12:00 p.m.) and a ceramics class.
The cost of lunch is $2.50. The exercise and ceramics class is optional.
Please note that transportation can be arranged through the Monterey County RIDES program for those who qualify. The RIDES program is only available to those who are unable to use the regular bus system in Monterey County. Monterey-Salinas Transit does have a bus stop in front of the Center.
Please call the center at (831) 649-3505 to make a reservation for the lunch so there will be enough for all.
